International Student Exchange

It is natural that students from international destinations visiting Cairns are excited about meeting like-minded, similar aged students from Australia.

Due to the influx of student groups that Australia and indeed the Far North Queensland region receive, we have developed a program with our key industry travel partners, that allows us to invite you to forward a request for us to arrange an exchange between your group, and an Australian school, here at Mungalli Falls. We are able to do this simply because so many of the local schools visit Mungalli Falls, and over a number of years, we have been fortunate enough to forge good working relationships with both public and private schools, whereby such a program is approved by the principal (on a case by case basis) and fits in to the curriculum of the local school.

What we suggest is that you contact us, (through your preferred agent), with your group size, for example, 50 grade 6 children from Japan, and they would like to do a full-day education based exchange program with a local school, with the same amount of children, in the same age group.

We then find the most suitable school, invite them to participate, and from there, design an itinerary.

ENGLISH LEARNING – INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.

English lessons in the relaxed atmosphere of the Tropical Rainforest. Our qualified staff will take care of the program to suit individual needs, from Beginners to Advanced Learning. We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity and abilities to use the English language effectively. We encourage overseas students to communicate in English and improve their communication skills in daily usage  of the language. The English Lessons Programs for Mungalli Falls Student Village are available upon request.

ENVIRONMENTAL, CULTURAL & RAINFOREST STUDIES
A myriad of environmental landscapes at the end of your microscope!

Mungalli Falls Rainforest Village boasts an enormous selection of rainforest flora and fauna plus the Beatrice River eco system. Discover the world of glow worms and observe the mystery of the Australian Platypus in the wild. Close to the Great Barrier Reef and various other points of interests such as Undara Lava Tubes and the Chillagoe Caves, Mungalli keeps pace with the changing market needs and educational requirements for your group.

All of Mungalli Falls activities can be specifically tailored for a deeper education experience. This can be in relation to English learning, or any number of team-building or developmental focuses.
